Ghana's hopes of a fifth Africa Cup of Nations title came to an abrupt end after a heartbreaking
3-2 loss to Comoros.
The Black Stars conceded goals in both halves and were eliminated from the competition without a single win.
Ben Nabouhane fired past goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott in the fourth minute after Daniel Amartey was turned on the right.
Ghana's task was made even more difficult when captain Andre Ayew was sent off in the 25th minute.
Andre slid in on a rebound after Salim Ben Boina had blocked a shot by Kamaldeen Sulemana.
Although he touched the ball first, Ayew's momentum carried him into the goalkeeper's arm.
While Bonia was treated and eventually substituted, the referee was instructed to review the incident on the video monitor.
After watching some images, the referee decided to send off the Ghanaian captain.

The Black Stars threw more players forward and a try by Fatawu Issahaku and a
brilliant free-kick by Thomas Partey gave the Ghanaians hope that they would recover.
But Comoros went into the break with a lead.
Edmund Addo replaced Baba Rahman in the second half as Milovan Rajevac's
side tried to bring more players forward.
But it was Comoros who scored the second goal when Ahmed Mogni put the ball in the net.
The Black Stars got the equalizer almost immediately when Richmond Boakye-Yiadom headed in a corner from Daniel-Kofi Kyereh.
Kyereh had two more goals on his hands from a corner kick and a free-kick, but both were saved by substitute goalkeeper Ali Ahamada.
After another Kyereh corner, the Black Stars equalized when Partey passed the ball to Djiku, who finished expertly.
Joseph Paintsil and Samuel Owusu were substituted by Rajevac to secure the three points, but Comoros took advantage of defensive weaknesses and won an important victory through Mogni's second goal.
It was the first time the Black Stars left an AFCON without a single win.
The last time Ghana was eliminated in the group stage was in 2006.
