Black Stars midfielder Baba Iddrisu is out for Tuesday's match against Comoros at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon due to a hamstring injury.
The 25-year-old sustained the injury during Ghana's 1-1 draw with Gabon at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium on Friday.
‘’The scan results revealed Oedema in his hamstring and so at the moment he can’t play against Comoros on Tuesday’’ Doctor Adam Baba said after returning from the Garoua Military hospital on Monday.
The RCD midfielder is likely to be replaced by Sheriff Tiraspol's Edmund Addo, who made only one appearance as a substitute against Gabon.
The Black Stars have yet to win a game at the AFCON and must win against Comoros to have any chance of advancing to the next round.
Anything less than a win would mean elimination for the Black Stars when they face Comoros at 7pm at Roumde Adjia Stadium.
