Police were also deployed to maintain peace, law and order at the company premises.
The disgruntled workers went on a sit-in strike on Feb. 24 to demand the removal of Fatoumata Doro as the company's general manager.
The workers alleged that MD had disregarded their collective agreement governing their working conditions.
The matter was reported to the National Labour Commission, which ordered that MD be required to work while the matter was processed.
A few weeks after the industrial action, several senior employees of the company were dismissed by the controversial MD, Fatoumata Doro. Employees have linked the dismissals to the protest.
Textiles Ghana Limited Managing Director Fatoumata Doro has finally resumed work on the instructions of the National Labour Commission (NLC) after being locked out for about a month.
The NLC instructed workers to allow her unhindered access to her office until further notice.
