A man from the Democratic Republic of Congo simply named Luwizo has married triplets in a colorful ceremony.
The 32-year-old married triplets Nadege, Natacha and Nathalie in a ceremony held last month in Karehe, in South Kivu, DR Congo. In an interview with Afrimax English, Luwizo said he met one of the triplets, Natalie, through Facebook and they fell in love after chatting for a while. The two then decided to meet in person at Natalie's house.
During one of his visits to finalize wedding plans, Luwizo discovered that his future wife was a triplet. That day, she met Natalie's identical sisters, Nadege and Natasha, who later fell in love with him as well.
"I met three girls with one face and was so surprised I almost fainted. As much as I was dreaming, I asked which of you all was Nathalie? You said you had never met with a single girl. The first time you met Nadege, the second time Natasha, and the third time social media girl Nathalie."
Luwizo said he fell into a trance and was confused because he had already agreed to marry Nathalie. "But the most surprising thing for me is that I found out that I can not marry one of the girls and leave the two behind. So I was forced to marry them all."
Not everyone was happy with his decision, especially his parents, who decided not to attend the wedding.
"You have to lose something to gain something else. Besides, you have your preferences and your own way of doing things. That's why I am happy to marry the triplets, no matter what others think."
The happy brides also have no qualms about marrying the same man. Nathalie said, "As you can see, we are very happy today, our dreams have come true. We thought we would be separated from our husbands, but God heard our prayers.
When Luwizo passed, we passed him to the one who was just among us, and she took him in. He was not able to distinguish us, so we all ended up falling in love with him."
"Even if people think it is impossible for three women to share one man, but for us, sharing things is our life, since childhood," she added.
