Ghana will face West African rival Nigeria in the play-offs for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Black Stars were among the 10 teams drawn to face each other in Saturday's draw in Doula, Cameroon.
The four-time African champions were in pot two, which also included Egypt, Mali, DR Congo, and Cameroon.
In pot one were continental heavyweights Senegal, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, and Nigeria.
In the other games, Egypt will face Senegal, Cameroon Algeria, Morocco DR Congo, and Tunisia Mali.
The playoff matches will be played on a home and away basis, with the winners advancing to the World Cup in Qatar.
The playoff matches, with a home and away leg, will be played between March 24 and 29, while the 2022 World Cup will run from Nov. 21 to Dec. 18.
